For those who really want a rest from their busy schedule we can offer evening meals prepared with our own farm reared produce, including lamb, pork, home cured ham, beef, sausages and bacon. There is also wild venison from our woodland and locally caught trout, eggs from our free range hens and home made marmalade and jams. Read more about our farm here.
Sustainability is taken very seriously at Higher Tresmorn and as well as using our own home reared meat and eggs and as much local produce as we can to keep our farm carbon footprint to a minimum. We supply glass milk bottles which can be refilled from the village shop supplying local milk. We also use eco cleaning products and LED lighting wherever possible and encourage our visitors to always recycle.
Higher Tresmorn also offers self catering in the 16th Century farm buildings. All are beautifully equipped, ensuring you enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can enjoy the spectacular views from the coastal path or walk along the cliff top, discovering the hidden coves of the area. Take to the surf at Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay, or find the secret world of Cornwall’s fascinating rock pools at many of the local beaches making Higher Tresmorn the perfect place for that special family holiday!
South West Coastal Path - Ideal Location For Walkers
Higher Tresmorn is ideally situated approximately half way between Bude and Boscastle making it the perfect stop off point! Located in a tranquil setting only a couple of fields in off the South West Coast path, a warm welcome and tea in the conservatory await you, before relaxing in a hot bath or shower in order to recover from your walk! Supper can be provided for you if required and also a picnic to take with you the next day all using our own or local produce as much as possible. Every possible care will be taken to make sure you are refuelled and rested ready for the onward journey!!
